Earlier this year-2013 a couple of us girls got together, phoned around and set up a meeting to see if there was any interest in a riding club in the Sparwood area. As it turns out there was a LOT of interest! So it was decided to start a non-profit to set up a local outdoor riding arena. Little did we know the amount of work and money involved in this endeavour.

Coal Miner Days Parade
Look for the Valley Riders Horseback in the Coal Miner Days Parade!
Anyone with a Valley Riders membership, valid Horse Council BC membership, and a parade friendly horse is welcome to join us horseback :)
Membership
Single $30
Junior/Senior (under 18 & over 55) $25
Family $50
Non-rider $10
The non-rider membership is so that any volunteers who are not riding are covered under our insurance.
Junior members under the age of 12 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
